What is Blog?
Blog is a short form of “weblog”.
Basically, it is a website or an online diary which can be seen by people all
around the world. It is just like an open blank paper where you can write
anything your heart and mind tells. Anyone can have blog for any purpose to
write what you are passionate for like sports, cooking, fashion, literature,
news, inspiring stuffs, jokes, films, travel, agriculture, tech news, arts,
etc. If you are passionate for photograph, then you can simply add photos in your
blog. There are millions of blogs in existence and thousands of new blogs are
registered daily. Only 2-3% blog is successful among mushroom like growing
myriad blogs. It depends upon you to be in 2-3 % or rest?
Different software for Blogging
Software and hosting are subtle if you are new in blog. Software is an
operating program while hosting provides shelter to your blog in the world of
internet. Different forms of software and hosting are available in the markets
which are listed below:
- 1) Free software & free hosting
- 2) Free software & paid hosting
- 3) Paid software & free hosting
- 4) Paid software & paid hosting
If you are new in a blog and gonna use it as a passion for individual purpose, free
software/hosting is the best. Why to spend money if you have all necessary features
in free route? If you are using your blog for business purpose just like
selling products or services, you need more space and features so 1st type isn’t
suitable for you. So you can choose later one.
Here, I am going to provide brief description i.e advantages and disadvantages of two top rated free
software for blogging. I hope it helps you to decide for appropriate one.

useful gadgets like Tag Cloud, Top Rated, Top Posts and Pages, Categories, My
Community, etc are provided by wordpress. To its downside, it doesn’t allow ads
such as Adsense, Textlinkads, so monetizing through advertisement isn’t
possible. However, it allows Wordads for good trafficking blogs. Browsing the
blog is slow for new blogs.

Wordpress.org
is different from wordpress.com. Wordpress.com is free software & provides
