How to Reveal Saved User ID and Passwords in Google Chrome

You must have accounts in different several websites like Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, Amazon.com, Gmail, yahoo, Freelancer.com, Paypal, Moneybookers, etc. It is difficult and tedious to remember all these passwords and user ID. So Google Chrome as well as other browsers have feature to save your passwords and they ask whether to save or not, after you have filled user ID and password. I hope you have saved passwords of different accounts in your browser which makes you easy to open your accounts.

To its downside, it has a problem when you want to open your account from another browser or computer. You could open your account from another browser and same computer by importing Bookmarks and Settings from previous browser.

But there is a serious problem when you forget your password and want to open your account from another computer. Have you faced this problem? Don’t worry. I have a solution which helps you to reveal and know your saved user ID and passwords in Google chrome. Simply follow these steps:

1.      Open your Google chrome browser and click for customize and control tab which is at top right corner just below windows close button.

2.      Go for Settings.

3.      Scroll down your mouse and click Show Advanced Settings option which is at the last of the page.

4.      Again scroll down your mouse and when you see Passwords and Forms, click Manage Saved Passwords which is shown in the figure below.

5.      Then Passwords Box pop up. Click on the website URL whose account password is required. Show button appears at the side of the dotted password. Click it and you are done.

Note: To maintain security of your accounts don’t save passwords in other computers and don’t let others to use browser where you have saved passwords in your computer. In spite of that suggest them to use next other browser if they want to use your computer.
